Statement of Diversity
AO3 (ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN) has always believed that the freedom to write and read is rooted in respect for the uniqueness of each individual. This statement sets out our core commitment to diversity and is applicable to all users who access the Platform through an official client.
1. Content and Expression
We welcome works of all kinds of subjects, styles, role relationships and cultural backgrounds, whether mainstream or not. AO3 Reader provides flexible tag filtering and display options to help you explore stories from different perspectives on demand, while also allowing you to block content you don't want to touch, ensuring that everyone's reading boundaries are respected.
2. User groups
No matter your nationality, language, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or physical or mental condition, you can feel at the ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN. We oppose any form of discrimination or derogatory speech, and the client's built-in reporting and blocking mechanisms are designed to maintain a friendly environment, but do not interfere with the content itself.
3. Accessibility and Technology Fairness
We continue to optimize the auxiliary functions of the client, support screen reading, contrast adjustment and font scaling, so that the AO3 reader can adapt to the needs of different users. All functions can be obtained through the latest version of the official website of AO3, and the official website of AO3. If you encounter such as HOME I ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN loading delay or accidental AO3.CUBEART.CLUB HOST ERROR prompt during the visit, our technical team will treat each failure report equally and repair it in time.
4. Community collaboration and feedback culture
We encourage cross-cultural and cross-language communication, we will never force anyone to change their expression habits. You can make diversity suggestions through the feedback channel on our website, and we regularly review our policies and practices. The ARCHIVEOFOUROWN will always serve as an open archive space for all true and diverse human stories.
This statement will be continuously updated to reflect our ongoing learning process. Thank you for being part of our diverse community.
