» Content Policy
This policy applies to all users who access the Platform through an official client. Please read the following sub-descriptions carefully to ensure that your experience is consistent with community consensus and platform operations guidelines.
1. Work Release and User Responsibility
Every work you publish through AO3 should be based on voluntary sharing and creative communication. We encourage multiple expressions, but do not upload content that clearly violates public order or contains technical malicious code. All works should be marked with appropriate classification and warning labels, so that AO3 reader function can provide accurate filtering and retrieval services for you and other readers.
2. Access and Client Use
This platform does not have a membership registration threshold, and all public content can be browsed through the legal client portal pointed to by AO3 official website. Please identify the verification channel embedded in the AO3 official website entrance and avoid using unofficial analysis jump links.
If you encounter an abnormal loading of the HOME I ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN page in the client, or the AO3.CUBEART.CLUB HOST ERROR class prompt is displayed, please check the local network settings first and submit the technical report only through the feedback channel built in the client.
3. Link reference and external jump
Users can include an AO3 link entry in the production comment, but the link must not point to malware, phishing sites, or unaudited aggregation pages. The client will perform security pre-checks on all external links. For links that repeatedly trigger risk rules, the platform reserves the right to block their display in the client.
4. Content Retention and Client-Side Caching
ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN as a long-term archive space, and does not actively review the content uploaded by users, but will adopt technical restrictions on the content (including excessive repeated submission and large-scale automatic crawling) that obviously interferes with the stability of the service according to the client usage agreement.
You have complete management rights for your own works, the deletion operation will simultaneously clean up the local cache of the client, but the ARCHIVEOFOUROWN distributed backup mechanism may retain technical logs without personal identification and is only used for fault recovery.
5. Client Experience and Policy Updates
This policy is adjusted with the iteration of the client version, the updated content will be publicized on the client startup page in advance. Please ensure that the client you are using is the latest stable version announced on the official website of AO3 to obtain complete functional support and security protection.
The right to interpret this policy belongs to the platform operation and maintenance team, and the specific implementation is subject to the actual performance of the client.have any questions, please contact us through the "Contact Us" entrance.
